I am glad I bought the Zurn Wilkins 1" 720A Pressure Vacuum Breaker. The price is really nice. It is really easy to install. You just need a big Channellock or Spanner and a saw.So far, so good. Very easy to install. Made of brass, so it should last a very long time. Recommended. The only disappointment is the valves are fake. It's just a handle.replaced the old one with this one and so far so good. This model cost more than the latest model straight from Zurn, but they gave a 1 month lead time and I got this one overnight so the extra forty was ok by me. I did end up rotating the pre-attached parts so that the valve handle wasnt facing my house, it had some give and worked out fine using the largest wrench I had. those things are screwed on tight! Upon initially turning the water back on some water spewed out the top of the unit, but I'm told that is to be expected. After a day of very small/slow leaks it seems to have sealed itself up. I have run my sprinklers 3 times since installing this thing and it is holding strong. Not a leak for 2 weeks now so I'm hoping all is well.So far so good working greatWorks as intended. Make sure you winterize or it will split.Used this to replace a similar one that went bad. Make sure you oil the valve nuts occasionally because they will rust and make it impossible to turn the valves on or offIt appears that I had a kink in the pex line feeding this vacuum breaker - so, IATA for complaining that the breaker was the problem when it was something else. The pressure was too low for the breaker to seal. When I fixed the pex line, the breaker worked as expected. Did not want to leave an unwarranted negative review.Solid, heavy, the real deal. It's more economical to buy 1" and then 1" to 3/4" PVC adapters than to buy the 3/4" version of the vacuum breaker.I decided against paying 50% more for a frost-safe model because in either case they both should connected with unions to the sprinkler system, and disconnected and stored indoors during winter.Very good quality! I used for my irrigation system. Easy installation.Très bonne qualité! J'ai utilisé pour mon système d'irrigation. Installation facile.Very good product. Exactly as described. Easy setup. Read the instructions, the diaphragm will leak on initial startup.I have installed it. I first put it the wrong way and it did block all the water from coming back. Very good.
