PowerSmith PAAC301 Ash Vacuum Filter - 2 Pack Replacement Filters for Fireplace, Wood Stove & Pellet Stove - Heavy Duty HEPA Filtration for Cleaner Air

I bought this vacuum to clean the ashes from my pellet stove. It is the second one I bought because the first time I accidently sucked up a live coal. Flames shot out of the top of the vacuum and it melted the inner filter. I continued to use the vacuum for the rest of the year because it still worked. However the motor filter began to fill with ash and the motor would overheat and shut off. Despite my neglect to the vacuum it continued to get the job done. That is why I am giving it four stars and this year, after looking at many other ash vacs, I decided to purchase another one of the same brand. I also bought extra filters just in case. My recomendation is to only use this vacuum for cold ashes. Also the gauge that lets you know when the vacuum is full is a joke and the plastic attachments that come with it leave much to be desired. In summary, I would recomend this vacuum, but don't have too high of expectations.
